Hi, I’m Fabienne! I’m a MSc student in Biodiversity at the University of Zurich and joined the group as an external student from KORA in March 2026.
For my Master’s thesis, I study how lethal management practices influence wolf pack dynamics in Switzerland. Because regulations allow the removal of individual wolves or entire packs, social structures and breeding pairs can be disrupted. I’m particularly interested in how these interventions affect pack stability, reproduction, and long-term survival. Using demographic data, my research helps evaluate the ecological impacts of current practices and contributes to more sustainable wolf management strategies.
