Project
My masters project aims to conduct a demographic analysis of translocated populations of the yellow-bellied toad (Bombina variegata) in the Swiss canton of Uri. The demographic analysis will be based on existing data and fieldwork conducted during spring and summer of 2024.
A comprehensive demographic analysis enables a better understanding of survival and recruitment in the translocated populations. This will help to refine the assessment of what constitutes a successful transolcation.
