About
I am an ecologist with an interest in understanding how individuals adopt to changing environments. My interest in the topic initially led me to study meerkat behavior in the Kalahari Desert, raven cognition in the Austrian Alps, and red knot foraging in the Dutch Wadden Sea, work centered on how individuals adapt to extreme and changing environments.
I now split my time between two roles that extend this question in different directions. As a part-time research associate working with Charlotte Christensen, I investigate individual variation in foraging behavior under heat stress in an arid-adapted bird species. In parallel, I work as an environmental consultant, helping companies develop strategies to adapt to environmental change while operating within planetary boundaries.
